Hello Everyone !!

We are kicking off the Watts Bridge Social Calendar for 2019 with another serving of the hugely popular Watts For Breakfast Fly-Ins. The plates fly off the pass at 8:00am on Sunday the 10th March.

All the usual tasty BBQ treats of sausages, bacon, eggs, etc, etc, etc, with endless coffee and tea.

Looking forward to some great flying weather and good turn out. See you all there!!

The final Watts for Breakfast?? in 2018 was by far the most successful ever held at the airfield! With 40 aircraft (maybe more) occupying the tie-down lines, the morning felt more like a regional fly-in than a two hour pop-up kitchen.

Well known fact: Sunday aircraft invariably bring hungry pilots, many with passengers, resulting in 139 plates filled with sausages, bacon, eggs and other breakfast goodies being served up by the volunteer chefs.

Watts For Breakfast is not intended to be a regular monthly event. Rather, it is held to fit around the activities of other airfield's fly-ins and breakfasts so that pilots, and and indeed all aviation enthusiasts, have the opportunity of having somewhere to go to most all times of the year. The best bet is to keep a keen eye on the Watts Bridge Calendar and Facebook to find out about future breakfast fly-ins.

Just a final reminder that the Brisbane Valley Sport Aviation Club's Fun Fly Poker Run for 2018 is to be held this Saturday, the 7th July.

The Fun Fly Poker Run is a game of pure chance where you fly to airfields in the district, select cards at random and then fly on to Watts Bridge where you register your hand and enjoy a BBQ lunch. The best poker hand wins the trophy!

All the information is on the poster which is available for download at http://www.wattsbridge.com.au/files/promotions/pokerrun2018.pdf
