Lake Wivenhoe provides more than half of south east Queensland’s drinking water.
Enjoy the day use areas at Logan Complex, O’Shea’s Crossing, Hamon Cove, Billies Bay, Hays Landing, Cormorant Bay and Spillway Common. Designated swimming areas are located at Logan’s Inlet and Billies Bay. Boating is popular at Lake Wivenhoe with non- motorised and restricted motorised watercraft allowed on the lake. Vessels must have low-emission engines and a limit of six knots is in place.
