Are you on the hunt for a cosy beanie? Trying to find a jar of that homemade relish similar to what Nanna used to make? Or some unique craft goodies, after all Christmas is just around the corner. Look no further, Folk Art Cooperative might just be the one stop shop you’ve been looking for.
MADE WITH LOVE LOCALLY
The Folk-Art Cooperative located in Lowood, first opened its doors in 1977. Members of the cooperative used what they had available in the shop to sell their homemade wares to the community. After all this time, 41 years later, the community focused store is still providing Somerset residents and visiting travelers the best homemade goodies, plants and so much more that Lowood has to offer! Continually adapting to the changing interests and needs of the community, the store is full of unique and interesting things that you won’t find anywhere else.
SHOW YOUR SUPPORT
This non-for-profit organisation provides its members with an affordable way to display their goods for sale and is purely run on a volunteer basis. It’s a fantastic way to support local people selling locally made items.
If you’re looking for a unique homemade item, or products that you won’t find anywhere else, visit Folk Art Cooperative today, you won’t be disappointed.
