Glen Rock Gallery
Complementary Colours
Exhibition by Ron Orr and Sue Howard
Friday, 28 September 2018 to Wednesday, 24 October 2018

Complementary colours in the true artistic meaning of the term refers to the two colours opposite each other on the colour wheel. While both Ron and Sue are very different in theme and medium, their work compliments each other beautifully.

Ron paints in oil and acrylics in a loose style with many brush strokes using ‘plein air’ (outside) technique, reflecting his extensive travels around Australia.

Sue works exclusively in watercolour using loose wet washes of transparent colour that bleed together creating soft flowers.

Glen Rock Gallery

82 Ipswich Street, Esk Qld 4312
Open: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm | Saturday to Sunday, 9am to 2pm
